This page describes what happens to information when you use this site. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.
The calculators do not send anything
Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. Purchase amounts, dates, nightly rates, the number of people traveling — none of it is transmitted, stored or logged. Close the tab and it is gone. This is a property of how the tools are built, not a promise about how we behave.
What is collected

We do not sell personal information, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Advertising and cookies
This site may show third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. When it does, advertising vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's ad settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
Your browser's settings can block or delete cookies at any time. The calculators do not depend on cookies and keep working with them disabled.
Analytics
If this site measures traffic, the measurement is aggregate: it tells us which pages are being used, so that we know which rules to keep up to date. It is not used to identify individuals.
The contact form
What you type in the contact form is sent to us by email and kept only as long as needed to deal with your message. It is not added to a mailing list. Please do not send passport numbers, reservation details or anything else you would not want in an inbox — we never need them to answer a question about a rule.
